R&D: Regulatory & Type Approval Affairs (M/Ž)

Are you interested in the combination of technology, regulations and the automotive industry? Do you enjoy working with international teams and solving complex technical and regulatory topics?
Join our team as a Regulatory & Type Approval Affairs Specialist and help ensure that our products meet all relevant regulatory and type approval requirements throughout their development.
Support project teams throughout the product development process to ensure that all type approval requirements are considered
Provide support and answer questions related to regulations and type approval requirements
Keep key documents, templates and SharePoint pages up to date
Support RFQ and early development projects by assessing feasibility and identifying potential regulatory and type approval risks
Plan and coordinate product type approvals with authorities, testing laboratories and customers worldwide
Support project teams with technical and legal requirements and help turn customer requirements into legally compliant solutions
Prepare and review type approval documentation and ensure that certificates are correctly stored in the database
Suggest Conformity of Production (CoP) test plans and provide support during audits

Personality requirements
Must-have:
Technical education
Very good English skills
Interest in technical regulations and legal requirements, with a willingness to continuously develop expertise in new regulatory topics
Independent, structured and proactive working style
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
Good general understanding of physics, optics and electronics
Enjoy working in an international team environment
Nice-to-have:
Previous experience in the automotive industry
Experience with type approval, certification or regulatory topics
Experience working with authorities, testing laboratories or customers on technical requirements
